A compostable, child resistant bottle, built entirely from folded paper, that won awards, got tons of attention and ignited the conversation around sustainability in the pharmaceutical industry.
The design is open source and is available to any pharmaceutical company, pharmacy or anyone at all. Here’s a video where I explain how it works using the prototypes and animations I made:
My background in packaging helped me design the folding bottle and my background in advertising helped me to promote it. Though I did not do this alone — Kathy Delaney, Lillianna Vasquez, Lauren Chan, the folks at TOM, and especially the late, and dearly missed, Scott Carlton were all critical to the success of the project.
